History

1967	Opened by the North York Public Library Board , March. Thomas Ibronyi Architect.
1996	Renovated, Spring. Phillip H. Carter Architect.
2007	New open hours, 8 January.
2009	7 February to 17 February – Closed for State of Good Repair (SOGR) renovations.
2013	Front door replaced and front foyer wall repaired because of water damage from roof. Roof waterproofed.
2017	50th Anniversary of branch opening.

Victoria Village is on Indigenous land. This is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee (ho-den-oh-sho-nee) Confederacy (aka. the Six Nations Confederacy), the Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
